The Kuroki Syndicate or Kuroki-gumi (Nihongo: 黒木組, Kurokigumi) is a Japanese criminal organization that primarily serves the Kuroki lineage and their wishes. Based in Tokyo, the Kuroki-gumi's branch at King's Dominion in San Francisco is led by Saya Kuroki, the daughter and heiress to the Oyabun (leader/boss) of the Kuroki Syndicate in Tokyo, Japan.

The Kuroki Syndicate (or Kuroki-Gumi) are a powerful crime family, the highest-ranked Yakuza in Japan. Saya Kuroki is the daughter and the heiress of the Oyabun/Kumicho (leader/boss) of the Kuroki Syndicate. A member, daughter and heiress of the Oyabun of the Japanese-based criminal organization, Saya moves away from her homeland, Japan to the United States, choosing to attend King's Dominion in an effort to perfect her craft in the deadly arts. During her time at the academy, she watches, aids, and sponsors the newest recruit Marcus Lopez, while fending off against the Kuroki Syndicate who attempt to recollect her, having left Japan on "not good terms."
