Season One of Syfy's American television action-thriller series Deadly Class was ordered on April 18, 2018.[1] It is based on the comic book series of the same name.[2]
Synopsis[]
Deadly Class follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. Maintaining his moral code while navigating a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties may prove fatal. Set against the backdrop of late 80s counter culture, Deadly Class is a coming of age story unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Based on the smash hit comic series of the same name by Rick Remender.[3]

- On July 21, 2016, during San Diego for Comic-Con, it was announced that the TV series adaptation was in development.[2]
- On September 27, 2017, Syfy gave the series a pilot order.[4]
- On November 9, 2017, Syfy announces its main cast of Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James, and Michel Duval.[5]
- On April 18, 2018, it was picked up for a series order.[1]
